Understand the objectives details panel

This article describes the updated objective details panel. For information about the legacy objectives details panel, click here.

This article provides an overview of the objectives details panel and the available modules and fields.

With the objectives details panel, you can create and update your objective details in a central location.

To manage an objective’s details, select its name in the grid to open its details panel. Once an objective has been created, the details panel contains all the fields defined during the objective creation process, and you can select fields to update them as desired.

Note: For a larger view of the details panel, select the full-screen icon in the upper-right corner.

  4. Subscribe, share and more options: Select the star icon to subscribe to the objective. Select the Share Share icon.png icon to copy a sharable link to your objective. Or, select the More More icon (three dots).png icon to make a copy of the objective or view the audit log: a detailed history of the updates made to the objective by date.
  5. Objective and key result progress: Assess your objective’s success using different progress measures, or update a confidence score, which serves as a manual score override on reports. For more information on this module, review the Create and update key results article.
  6. Key results: Add new key results, review current key result progress, and edit other details about your key results. For more information on the key result creation process, check out our Create and update key results article.

  8. Aligned work items: View, add, and remove aligned work items, as well as aligned dependencies, risks, and impediments.
