Enterprise Insights release notes for 11.16.X

Jira Align's Enterprise Insights (EI) version 11.16 was deployed to environments on the continuous release track on September 12, 2025. It will then be deployed to environments on the bundled release track on September 26, 2025. The following changes are included in version 11.16:

Enhancements and features:

• New team access views have been added for portfolios, programs, and solutions. These new tables help you identify what data a user can view, based on team permissions. This is especially useful for configuring Atlassian Analytics reports. 
  
  Note: A team-level access view will be added in version 11.17.0, to provide permission details on agile teams. This view name is currently visible in the 11.16 schema, but the data is not yet hydrated.

New AWS-only Data File Retrieval option available

To support organizations that require data to remain entirely within Amazon Web Services (AWS), we’ve launched an AWS-only data export pipeline. Jira Align data can now be delivered as parquet files directly to Amazon S3, using a private, isolated virtual private cloud (VPC) and Amazon RDS, ensuring no data passes through Microsoft Azure.

Key details:

• No Azure involvement, all data stays in AWS.
• Parquet file delivery to S3 only, no direct database or Atlassian Analytics access
• Dedicated VPC setup for isolation and compliance
