Manage external users

The Manage Ideation Users page allows you to see who has signed up to give feedback in your external ideation groups. Ideation group Admins and Super Admins can view and filter a group’s user list to know who will be submitting feedback. To navigate to this page, select Ideation > Manage Ideation Users.

Note: Viewing the Manage Ideation Users page is controlled by the Products > Product > Products > Save and Delete system role permission toggles.

Information for users who have signed up for an external ideation campaign group is displayed in a table. By default, only active users in the group are listed. You can view the user ID, name, email, and a listing of registered idea groups the user has logged into.

You can filter for users associated with a specific UID, name, email, or ideation group, as well as apply a filter to display disabled users.

To apply a filter:

  1. Click the Apply Filters button on the top-right of the page.
  2. In the dialog box that displays, select your filtering criteria from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click the plus sign next to the drop-down menu to activate a field where you can add specific search strings to include in the filter.
  4. Click the Filter button to view the results on the page.

Clicking a user’s UID number on the Manage Ideation Users page will display a panel containing user details. Administrators can view the first and last name of the user, email, and any other ideation portals the user is registered for. Additionally, administrators can enable or disable a user from participating within the group using the Enabled toggle. Disabling a user will prevent the user from logging into the external Ideation portal. However, their ideas and comments will remain intact.
