Enterprise Insights release notes for 11.3.X

Jira Align's Enterprise Insights (EI) version 11.3 was deployed to environments on the continuous release track on August 30, 2024. It will then be deployed to environments on the bundled release track on September 13, 2024. The following changes are included in version 11.3:

Enhancements and features:

• JIRAALIGN-7464: New Capability Milestones, Feature Milestone and Theme Milestone views (current_dw schema) available in the Atlassian Analytics schema. To make the new views visible in the Atlassian Analytics simplified schema, first sync the schema in your Enterprise Insights data source in Atlassian Analytics.
• Enterprise Insights data file retrieval option: We’re offering a new option that lets you export your Jira Align cloud data from Enterprise Insights and import it into your own database or data lake. With data file retrieval, your Enterprise Insights data is exported to Apache Parquet formatted files that are stored within a dedicated Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 bucket that only you have read access to. The data file retrieval option is offered as an alternative for when you are unable to use a Microsoft SQL Server client or compatible ODBC/JDBC client to access Enterprise Insights.

• We’ve made updates to the Epic status dashboard template in Atlassian Analytics to support the new epic milestone updates and future deprecation of Portfolio Ask field in Jira Align:

  • Removal of the Portfolio ask column in the epic details table chart. See Future removal and migration of Portfolio Ask field.

  • Replaced Complete column with Completed in the Milestones table chart. The Completed column displays the Date Completed value in the Epic Milestone view (current_dw schema).

  • Updates to the dashboard template were released in a separate Atlassian Analytics release.
