Synchronize object data with roadmaps

Synchronizing data means that the fields on your objects update with the changes you applied on the roadmap. For example, depending on your changes to the roadmap, your objects will be assigned to the appropriate PI or target start and end dates. The sync option is disabled until a change to health or dates is made to any bar on the roadmap. This option is available in the Work view.

To synchronize changes:

1. Navigate to the roadmaps page.
2. Ensure that the correct entity is selected on the sidebar, then select a PI from the Program Increment dropdown on the sidebar.
   Note: You can select a custom PI range under Select Range or a date range under Quick Selects.
3. Make the changes you need, and then click Sync on the toolbar.
4. Select the check boxes of the options you want to synchronize, and then click Sync.
