Program increment cleanup report

About this report

The program increment cleanup report shows all of the work items with owner, from highest to lowest level, that are not yet closed/accepted/delivered and due for completion in the selected Program Increment (PI). This report can be used towards the end of a PI, or even after a PI completes, by the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and other leaders to see what items are outstanding from the selected PI.

How to interpret this report

An overall scan of the report will quickly give a feel for the health of the program increment for the selected program.

For any PI about to close, any item in any section of the list needs to be addressed - either by:

  1. Verifying it will be completed during the PI
  2. Splitting it (if possible), or
  3. Moving the item in question to the next PI or into the unassigned backlog.
