New Enhancements
Dependencies
- Remove stories: You now have the ability to remove stories from a dependency.
- Create stories inline: You now have the ability to create a story inline on dependencies.
- Need By drop-down menu improvement: Sprint and Date values have been added to the Need By drop-down menu.
- Enhanced messaging: Dependency messaging has been enhanced so that when you select Commit To, you have the sprints/dates available for selection OR you are told why you cannot select a target sprint.
o If you cannot select a target sprint, you have the ability to resolve the issue by pulling out the PI panel and adding sprints to the PI (assuming you have the correct permissions). - Workflow to select PI first: When creating a dependency, you now MUST select a PI first. After selecting the PI, you cannot select a work item (to tie to the dependency) that is outside the selected PI.
- Usability on Requestor field: The Requestor field now only shows teams/programs tied to the selected work item:
o Teams under the Program tied to the Feature or
o Program(s) assigned to the Capability/Epic
o The Requested field can show teams or programs regardless of PI or work item selection. - Alerts when selecting teams outside a PI: If you select a team or Program outside the PI, you are now notified by an alert.
- Enhanced filters for Depends On team: When associating a story to a dependency, the available stories in searchable select are only related to the selected Depends On team.
o If a Depends On Program is selected, it is filtered by PI. - Status improvements tied to Program Board: If No Work Required is selected, the dependency no longer requires stories or a Commit By option to show green on Program Board or grid. Items now show green on Program Board once marked as No Work Required.
- Expanded ability to select PIs: The PI selection when creating a dependency is no longer limited to the context configuration.
o The rest of the dependency filtering is still driven off that PI selection.
Program Board
- Program Board mouse over: Mouse-over capability has been added back to the Program Board, enabling users to quickly scan features without having to click each individual object.
Issues Grid
- Display Program column: Program has been added to the list of columns available for display in the Issues grid.
- Filter by Programs: Program has been added to the list of attributes available to filter within the Issues grid.
