Create a custom survey

In Jira Align, you can create a customizable survey to collect feedback from users. Create surveys from the surveys page:

1. Select Teams in the top navigation bar and select the team you want to view information about.
2. On the sidebar, select More pages in the list of options.
3. Select Surveys; the surveys page displays.

To create a survey:

1. On the surveys page, select the Add Survey button in the upper-right.
2. Type a title of the survey and its description.
3. Set the Send Date on which your survey will be sent to the respondents and the Expire Date when your survey will expire and no longer be valid.
4. Optionally, select if you want to set a reminder to fill in the survey, if this survey should be used as a survey template, or if the survey will be sent anonymously.
5. Click Save.
6. From the Survey Users drop-down menu, select the target users who will fill in the survey.
7. To add questions to the survey, click Add New Attribute, select the attribute type (a text, multi select, or single select), type your question, and then set its sort position against other survey attributes.
8. To send the survey to the respondents, click Send in the upper-right corner of the slide-out panel, and then click Yes, send it! in the confirmation message.

Tip: You can add a bulk of attributes by clicking the Add 10 New Attributes button.

To edit or review a survey:

1. Select the necessary survey from the surveys grid, and then click the Edit/Review tab.
2. For each of your questions, add several answers, and then click Save.
3. To send the survey to the respondents, click Send in the upper-right corner of the slide-out panel, and then click Yes, send it! in the confirmation message.
