Participate in an innovation tournament

All tournaments are listed on the Innovation Tournaments page. The color indicates if the tournament setup is incomplete (red), the tournament is in progress (orange), or the tournament is completed (green). You can click the tournament name to view its details.

After the innovation tournament is set up and all participants are invited, the tournament can start.

Participants

If you are invited to take part in the innovation tournament as a participant, follow the steps below.

To take part in a tournament:

1. Click the link in your invitation.
2. In the Take Your Best Shot box, type your idea, and then click Submit.
   Note: Pay attention who serves first. The second player does not need to act until the first player is done.

OR

1. Select Enterprise from the left menu bar.
2. Under the Manage section of the menu bar, select Innovation; the Innovation page displays.
3. Open the Innovation Tournaments tab.
4. On the Innovation Tournaments page, click the name of the tournament that you want to run.
5. Click View Tournament.
6. Scroll down to the round that you are invited to play in.
7. Click the Home team is up or Away team is up link to start (depending on your assignment and if it is your turn).
8. In the Take Your Best Shot box, type your idea, and then click Submit.

Judges

If you are invited to take part in the innovation tournament as judge, follow the steps below.

To take part in a tournament:

1. Click the link in your invitation.
2. Under Home Innovations, select the score to estimate the first player's ideas.
3. Under Away Innovations, select the score to estimate the second player's ideas.
   Note: The home score and away score cannot be equal.
4. Click Save Score.

OR

1. Select Enterprise from the left menu bar.
2. Under the Manage section of the menu bar, select Innovation; the Innovation page displays.
3. Open the Innovation Tournaments tab.
4. On the Innovation Tournaments page, click the name of the tournament that you want to run.
5. Click View Tournament.
6. Scroll down to the round that you are invited to judge.
7. Click the Judge it link to start.
8. Under Home Innovations, select the score to estimate the first player's ideas.
9. Under Away Innovations, select the score to estimate the second player's ideas.
10. Click Save Score.
11. To view the tournament results, click the Results button on the toolbar.
